This collaborative project aims to meet the information needs of a growing number of stakeholders in the education community from early learning through postsecondary education and the workforce.
All questions/discussions regarding this grant while it is in progress (from the time ISDs receive this grant notification until selection decision is made) should be via email and directed to Roderick Bernosky through CEPI’s Customer Support Team. Send your inquiries to cepi@Michigan.gov and include in the subject line “Grant Question - Attn: Roderick Bernosky.”
For the Michigan School Aid Fund – 2020-21 MI School Data Portal Operations Grant application, “Indirect/fiscal administration” is listed as a line item on the budget detail. Does this mean indirect cost will be allowable for this grant? If so, is there a maximum allowable rate or can the individual ISD indirect cost rate be applied?
Yes, Indirect/Fiscal administration costs are allowable. The cap is 7% of the overall value of the grant. in this case 7% of $1,000,000 equals $70,000. The ISDs can apply their individual rates but the total can not exceed $70,000.
